Resolve Conflicts in this Age of Outrage
If you are a biblical counselor, a biblical counseling student or a church leader who resolves conflict within your home, with friends or with your church community
You have sat through some disagreements and people come to you for help. You are thinking of people right now in your family, local church or neighborhood. You have been systematic and always go back to the Bible for guiding conflicts. You know that when conflicts are mismanaged, it will cause more harm than good.
You need to learn this method of conflict resolution, especially in this age of outrage.
You feel that you can do better and that there are other things that you can do to be more effective in resolving conflicts especially now that times are changing. You’re in the right place!

After this webinar
You will learn...

01.
Understand the Flesh in Conflict
Through learning about the flesh, we will become better as biblical counselors in gently helping people see their flesh when they are in conflict or in sin, and help them learn how much of a better way God offers, when He offers for us to walk in the spirit.

02.
Reach the Heart
This workshop is designed to help you lead your counselees to focus on Jesus -- not on themselves or their problem or their change.

03.
How to Mediate + Practical Questions
In this workshop, we will discuss foundational ideas, guidelines, and practical questions in conflict resolution while maintaining focus on God’s love and bringing accountability back to the Word of God and the power of the Holy Spirit.
Nice to meet you!
I can't wait for you to join this workshop.
I'm Jeff Christianson, Senior Pastor of Calvary Chapel in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. I am the current President of the International Association of Biblical Counselors. Together with my team, I help ministry leaders and pastors know Jesus and make him known through the sufficient resource of God’s word. All while equipping, training, discipling, coaching and certifying biblical counselors. I hope that this with workshop, I can help you grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
“Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God, who also made us sufficient as ministers of the new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.” 2 Corinthians 3:5-6

What my students are saying
Proverbs 13:10 says, "Pride leads to conflict..." What is the opposite of pride? Humility. Paul says, "I beg you to lead a life worthy of your calling, for you have been called by God. Always be humble and gentle."
Tim H.
"...present Christ in a “winsome” way. There’s no reason for us to engage is heated debates with unkind attitudes, gestures and/or comments. What the Lord offers is indeed attractive and appealing, and we need to remember to abide in Him and allow His Spirit to do the work."
Victoria S.
"I have learned so much through the course “Interpersonal Relationships” about conflict resolution... It is humility that will lead us to confess and repent of an offense. We need to have a humble heart in order to be able to seek the will of God for our lives and when we are humble we will seek also for reconciliation with others"
Jason C.
"I appreciate everything you said Jeff. It is truly amazing how wonderful a resource the Word of God is when it comes to life including problem solving/conflict resolution. God had plenty to say on the issue only if we would listen and do what He has said prescribed."
