This phase of your journey moves beyond the classroom into the life of your local church. Here, you’ll live out your calling—walking faithfully in real ministry as you log 50 real-life, supervised counseling sessions.

This practicum is not just another course—it is the proving ground of your training, where biblical knowledge becomes biblical action.

What's Included:

Disciple-Making in the Local Church: Counsel and disciple others in your congregation through the Word, fulfilling your calling to help others grow in Christ.

50 Supervised Counseling Sessions: Document and submit reports of 50 real conversations and ministry moments, demonstrating readiness to counsel biblically.

 Milestone-Based Review: At key checkpoints, we’ll review your progress, offer feedback, and guide you forward—mentorship when it matters most.

Case Report Submissions: Submit reports and reflections in batches (typically 5 at a time) at designated intervals for review.

Support When Needed: Though largely self-directed, you are not alone. When questions arise, we’re here to help you stay on course.

 Final Certification Recommendation: Upon completion, your supervisor will recommend you to IABC for certification.

Remember:

• This is self-led, with periodic, structured supervision—not daily oversight.

• You are responsible to initiate reports, meet requirements, and request feedback.

• Our role is to equip and guide you, but the stewardship of your calling remains yours.
